Henry Reed Smart worked for many years for General Electric in Massachusetts, and he and his wife, Pam, vacationed frequently in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Their daughter, Meredith, went to Johnson State College; and daughter, Jennifer, and her family relocated to St. Johnsbury.

In 2000, Henry decided that it was time to follow his dream, so he retired early, moved to Vermont, and started a new career in real estate. His love of the region and his enthusiasm for meeting new people have made him a success in assisting folks with finding the property right for them. He spent two and a half years selling land and homes in Caledonia County, Vermont. He has enjoyed working with the professional team at Aurore M. Hood Real Estate, and is proud of their excellent customer service standards.

Along with his grandchildren keeping him busy, Henry is also a Kiwanis member, and is active in their yearly auction that supports their summer swimming pool project. He is also a member of the Diversion Program that counsels first time offenders to choose a more positive and productive path in life.

His goals now are to find you that dream home or that vacation getaway that you have often thought about!
